📝 What Needs Approval?
If you require approval, these types of items will be reviewed before being published to parents:
- Observations
- Profiles
- Reports
🍼 What About Care Diary Entries?
- Most Care Diary entries are posted immediately, even if you require approval.
- However, your manager may turn on a setting that requires approvals for Care Diary posts too.
🚨 What Happens When I Submit an Item?
- Your assigned manager is notified of your submission.
- They can choose to approve it immediately or view and edit it first.
- Once approved, the item will appear in the Learning Journal as usual.
❌ What If It’s Rejected?
- You will receive a “Approval Rejected” notification.

- Click the notification to:
- View the reason
- Edit your submission
- Click Re-export to resubmit it for approval



You can also view all rejected submissions by going to Menu > My Approvals.

📌 Additional Notes
- You can only have one assigned manager, set by your school’s admin.
- The approval system is currently available on the web only.
- You can always track the status of your submissions via the Approvals section.
